This is the NEW date for what was my welcome home party from Afghanistan.

As most of you know my son, Austin Duke Griffith, came a bit early and we had to re schedule the party. So come on out Friday night around 7pm and welcome me home and my son into the world. This is not a baby shower but since most of you probably wont make the baby shower if you would like to bring gift cards they would be greatly appreciated, but you dont have too. Places we could use gift cards would be Babies R us... Ikea... Target, just to name a few. Again, it is not a must to bring a gift, i'll be happy just to see everyone!



This is the weekend of Good Guys car show so I hope to see some nice automobiles out!

Going to be good tunes brought to you by my friends in THE STRAIGHT 8's, good people, slick machines and an all around good time! This will be a family friendly event so feel free to bring your wives/girlfriends and kids, or get a sitter and come out and enjoy yourself!

 

Looking forward to it!!! It's going to be a good time for sure. Bring your cars and family out!

Man, I'm bummed this year I can't make the Goodguys show, the Iron Lords party, and the welcome home party - thank you for your service! Family obligations are keeping me away ...

Sounds like a great time will be had by all (as usual) and the Lords and their shop have just, flat out, the coolest place on Hot Rod Earth, bar none ....

One possible "cool thing" is that when I make next year's event I just might have my project done in time for the Iron Lords "show within the show". All I can say is that I'm "truckin'" to get 'er done!

Ha, I've been posting over in the original thread this week... now I see why there's been only a few responses. LOL Friday's gonna be awesome! I'm guessing we can get down there close to 8:00 and plan to start playing around 9:00. Too early, too late? LMK!

Murph, that sounds great. We might have to rearrange some cars to get you guys thru the back but playing around 9 would be great!

 

Ill be there real early Friday to help get things ready. Really can't wait man, this should be really fun!!

Made it up to Salisbury NC to my good friend and sons godfathers house. Ready for the shin dig tomorrow night! Had a great ride up from SC with my wife at my side and son in the back. Good to be road tripping the olds again!!
