Yep, John Pastor. Thanx guys, i knew you'd chime in. hard to remember all the names without cross referencing all the time.
yup, correct, I was mixing his first name up with Tony Coe, owner of the other legendary 70s built Capri.
Thats a British Ford Capri. Not sure on the year thou. And yeah, as fuzzy as that Galaxie piture is they look like Clasics or Tru Rays.
Whilst on the Brit lowrider trip, how about these: Chris Martin?? Raspberry Tart <OMilton Holman 1958 Chevy</O <OAndy Saunders AUDI I installed the Hydros, so it's the best!!</O <OClive Miles, Change of Heart</O <OAndy Saunders 1947 Pontiac, Oh yes I did the hydros on that as well, very nice car.</O
It's totally stock, well cept for a shave and a few other bits and bobs, I have a mild custom one, they were built between 1961-64, mine's a 63. The day it won 2nd place Lowrider, first place loser. Here's Tony Coe's Capri.
This ´56 Chevy looked so cool I had to give the photo some love to show the paint better. Bad ass car!
Hey there! Need more info on your past work. To be fair The Poncho is probably the only Saunders car i ever liked, maybe the Volvo too. The Audi is a giant POS! I mean, if it had some wheels/tires and even on stock paint could be fun, but that scheme..please! Is the 58 the one that was wgite and done about the same time as John Pastor's? I heard there was a debate between the 2 for who did it first.
These are some cool ass picks. Question: how would you install the back system on say my car (54 Ford Cusomline) with lief springs? Would they make the lief crack? I can buy an entire setup from a friend for less than half the price of going to bags and I don't even have to get MII setup.
Not traditional? I call BS on that. When I was a freshman in HS, (1961) these things were all over So.Cal. One of the coolest cars at our school was a '59 Buick lowrider...purple w/white interior and those little plastic purple and white knobs everywhere, dingle balls around the windows and about 2 inches off the ground, ww's with chrome wheels and spiders. Not traditional....pfffttt

Yes that 1947 Pontiac was a very nice car, got a feature in Lowrider Mag as 'Britains Best Lowrider' proud to say that I supplied and installed the set up.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o> When Andy sold the Pontiac to a restaurant in Tenerife, he kept the Hydros and I then installed them on the Audi, along with two extra pumps, that thing had 16 inch rams front & back would really dance. <o></o> The paint was inspired by some cloth Andy bought in IKEA!!!! Must have been next door to a Pub!!!!<o></o> The 58 Chevy was painted white and initially American Graffiti style, Milton got the set up off of a 55 Chevy that he brought in from the States, article in a Rod & Custom UK magazine.<o></o> Miltons 58 featured in a Take That video. <o></o> There was some debate, but Johns got the first Magazine coverage, Street Machine, first!!<o></o> I also installed hydros on a 1955 Pontiac and 1957 Ford Gladys an Mazda Mini Truck plus a couple of others, whilst in the UK.<o></o>
Weld a bracket to the side of the chassis rail and pass a ram through, riding on a small coil spring. won't lower the car will, this will have to be done with lowering blocke etc. Will only raise the car up!! Image stolen for layitlow.com Great site!!!
