Back to the roots of Drag Racing! Heads up style, run what you brung. You dont need a top fuel rail to compete, bring your stock flathead 4 banger and have a ball. [/FONT]There will be a trophy/prize for Low Reaction Time. Everyone is eligible.


If you dont get enough racing at this event its yer own damn fault. Get there early, race past dark. Do as many passes as you like.

• Gates at 9am (registration at the gate is $35 includes car and driver)
• Spectators/Passengers $10/ea. (12 under, Police, Fire and Active Military with ID free)
• Heads up drag racing on an 1/8th mile track
• Basic tech inspection required. Helmets and seat belts for open cars. Helmets, long pants, jacket and closed shoes for mini-bikes/motorcycles

I love people racing their own cars then to race. Just enjoyed the event and it was tremendous No such words can describe the really fun that I had there.

 

Remember to come down (or up Salvagerz ) a day hearly for the Backyard Bash at Big Daddy's place!!!

 

I am going to miss it this year. Dan and Don are both working so I won't get to make it..........damn. But I sure recommend it for anyone who can go, it really is the most fun you will ever have, words can not explain it.

Alan normally has flyers@the drags for the next Florida show. You will know then,so,come on over and get it first hand! SwampKings will have them at thier show on Sat. as well,make a weekend of it!

Great time all. GREAT turn out, more racers than last year. Some new cars and some FAST cars. Model A wheelstander was a hoot. Mini-bike madness was in full effect, even some Go-Kart Madness. Pics to come.

 

Can't wait for the pictures to start showing up, for us less fortunates who couldn't make it this year !
