Went to a local car show today and spotted this 1933 shop cart....it is battery operated, and really modern for it's day...you stand on a rocking platform and lean forward to go ahead, and lean back to go in reverse.
It was recently taken out of service, as it went too fast for new safety standards.
A friend of mine has used this for years in his job, so bought it for ONE DOLLAR !!
    What a classic...
    Cheers,
    Bob

  2. One freakin' dollar!?!?

You can't even buy a candy bar for a dollar anymore and certainly not a cool toy!

Here's a unique opportunity for your friend to triple his investment....

    3.00 American...

Kidding aside... It's a very neat piece. I'd love to find one, especially for a deal like that.

That is one of those absolutely useless things that all of us would love to own ! :D I would have no use for it, but I want one.

Yeah, that is cool as it, but it would be definitely be seriously impressive for 1933, especially that it still works so well they had pull it out of service for being too kick ass for the current crop of PC butter asses. Even still, would be 40 years old even if just '73.
