Sweet! It's out and about stalking the local streets! Here's to more hot rods in the drip!! Posted from the TJJ App for iPhone & iPad
Yep, it's my Dad's long term project, and by "long term" I mean it's the first time it's seen the road under its own power in my Dad's 42 years of owning the car! He paid a whopping $500 for it... He bought a chassis off of Pete Eastwood in the early 70's and there it sat, with the cost of me and my siblings being the main reason the project didn't progress. So, we decided to throw it together! No fluff, just crude and to the point. We needed to see it drive! and it is surreal to see it on the road today... Posted from the TJJ App for iPhone & iPad
Didnt fatlucky just do the interior in that ?looks great Sent from my DROID device using the TJJ mobile app
Ryan, HQ reminds me of the remote transmission station where the Wolfman did his radio program in American Grafitti.
man i like that!!!! 42 yrs. now thats determination.glad its up and runnin!!! and i like that interior..
Man,,the simple looking interior is beautiful,,congratulations to you guys for getting the delivery roadworthy! HRP
Is hq a place in Texas where anyone on the hamb if their in Texas later on could go to and ride the rides and get the pics and autographs Im not in Texas,so dont worry but it looks like a cool place to visit seeing as though this is where the magic comes from ha ha
Another pic of the interior. Sean(fat lucky's) is a bad man. So talented!! Posted from the TJJ App for iPhone & iPad
Wow! I was lusting over that thing when Fat Lucky was posting the interior build pics. Any chance we can get a thread with more details on the history and some build pics?
Bitching car! Except the interior is too nice to make any deliveries in now... I bet your old man is over the moon after waiting 42 years. That's not where the Wolfman did his radio program. That was just a receiving station. The Wolfman just broadcasts from a plane that flies around in circles all the time.
my best friends neighbor had a yellow one with wire wheels on it when I was about 12 -13 years old. kind of leaves an impression on a kid. a 33-34 delivery is definitly on my list when I win the lottery.
