Just picked up a 41 Plymouth Pickup, Looking for info on redoing it, looks like I came to the right place. Brent
Welcome from Riverside. What is the condition of your Plymouth? What are your plans? Carmak P.S. I used to have a 67 Pontiac ambulance from the Morley-Martelle first responders.
Thanks for the welcome, Carmak, It's pretty rough so I haven't decided what to do yet. I think I'll get it on the road and do it as a work in progress, I'm afraid if I strip it all the way down to do a frame off I'll loose interest and never get it back together. Brent
It's great to hear you are thinking about the big picture before you tear it apart. As a person of minimal means with limmited tools and skills who has a family with kids in school I have some advice. If you are not really sure that you can finish your truck (it is up to you to define "finished") then I would leave it together, sell it and find a project that you can finish. The world is littered with started projects that have missing parts that should have been left together. Lastly always start with the BEST car you can afford. Good Luck! Carmak P.S. PM me if there is anything you are looking for or need help with.
Yes it is. I grew up in the house on the hill next to the entrance (my father has lived there since 1941). In my youth (before they had a light on it) I used to torment the late night visitors. I knew the place well enough to run in pitch darkness. If you are an Iowa City local and your are Czech then you are a Northsider and if you are a German then you are a Southsider (The dividing line is Jefferson St). Carmak
