Picked this up this past week a the Hershey swap meet. Other then this beeing totaly bitchin I know nothing about it so any info or other pictures would be great. The back side is stamped Stewart Warner and has a few other markings. Gauge measures 6 1/2 accross and has a 1/2 curve in the glass.

    Here are some pictures:

I pulled a few of those out of an old junkyard awhile back, they were all marked hupmobile. Tossed one in a model t/a speedster with a 4.11 geared rear end and 600-17 tires and the damn thing reads within a couple mph of correct, and a stock ford cable screws right in.

That speedo and quad gauge would be tits in a ford like say my '38. I'll bet that they are SW gauges.

On the OPs speedo I would like to know what the stamped wording is, it is a little scratched up in the pic to read all that I can make out is the made in USA.

I have that same speedo as well. Found it on that auction site about 3 years ago for cheap and snagged it up. Never found out what it came out of.

  16. Great thing about traditional hot rods, you don't need to know what a cool part came from in order to use it. Probably many of us have an unidentified cool part or two on our cars.

I'm pretty sure they are aftermarket. Mine is Marked for 1935.

The Dodge is pretty much the same gauge but has Dodge at the bottom. I have one of those too.

  21. What makes me think aftermarket, or non stock car, is the one shown has an odometer, but no trip meter. Many/most factory cars have both.
