  5. Great looking '63.. I only had a '62 and '64 myself. Great cars for lowering and painting up, they always rode so nicely.

I really like the colors you went with, but most of all, I totally dig the wheels. Choice.

Thanks Ryan, with my son being 21 it is nice the direction he has had with this car! He has had this vision of a Bellflower custom ever since seeing Donnie Baird's Olds at GNRS 5 years ago. I am proud he has kept focused, even when the $$ are tight. He is hoping to take it to the Roundup this next spring with my 40 sedan and 35 3window

If you guys make it to the round up this year, I wanna park my Riv next to his Olds... I think when mine is done, the two would look pretty cool next to each other.

Sounds like a plan, hope he gets his $$ for the bumpers and should make it....

  18. The wheels are OK but I am interested in the flake on the roof. What is it? Is there a size involved when ordering like in mini flake or???

I painted the roof with straight silver metallic tint then added 4 oz of house of colors silver mini flake to a pot of clear. Then followed with 6 coats of clear sand and buff.

Looks great. Love the subtle contrast in the rather soft colors. Congrats Dad!

Killer ride, you must be very proud!

And Ryan, tru-spokes or skylark wires always look so classy on Rivieras

  23. Thanks for the info. My research is sketchy I look at things till I find something that looks right to me and ask.

You just hit it one time with the flake correct?

Ya did a couple uniform coats, then a dusting coat to kind of even it out

  26. Great lookin' project/projects. Just when I thought my '64 Olds' were under the radar, they turn up all over. Badass one in this months Rod and Custom, super nice 98 Sports cpe at NSRA Tampa last weekend(similiar light green), now these two gems. Don't necessarly want to see them all over the place, like a Chevy. Like having something different. They make great mild customs. Bodywork and interiors already zoomy, from the factory. Hope your engine is in good shape, takes a kings ransom to properly rebuild one. Thanks for sharing.
