I recently just bought a kustom corvette and was thinking about running chrome reverse wheels with slicks. Just figured I try to get a thread going and see other kustoms are running them past, present, and future. I would like to try to keep this thread on kustoms and not gasser/ hot rods

Ill start it off with mine car the desperately needs a new set of shoes

Love that car. I got no pics, but remember a few show customs from back in the day running slicks. Do it,it'll look cool, and be one more way to piss off the vette guys.

I was thinking about putting some whitewall cheater slicks on my '65 T-Bird.
I've had this idea of making it a hot rod/custom...or custom/rod. Custom paint and bodywork but with Torque Thrust wheels and dump tubes.

  18. I can't be much help with photos but I do remember going to a few car shows when I was a kid and seeing slicks on custom so I think they would look great on the Vette,,and chrome rims also. HRP

It originally had matching wheels all the way around. One morning Dad got up to go to work and someone had stolen the front wheels. The thieves took a huge rock that sat at the end of the driveway with the address of the house painted on it and shoved it under the car to hold it up while they made off with the wheels.
