Your 5w is looking real nice... How much out of the top?

  7. Thanks guys.
I'm excited about getting it whacked.
We chopped 5 inches to start.
The plan is to end up with about 6 inches out of the front and 5.5 inches in the back.
The a pillars will get laid back about 3 degrees also.
Should be pretty sinister looking when it's all buttoned up.

  14. We are gonna sneak up on it from here. I want a little angle to the chop and the cowl is already cut to lay back the A pillars.

The car is going to have a serious purpose-built competition vibe to it. So the the aggressive chop is going to look like it belongs.

Stay tuned, more pics will be posted as progress is made.

I can't explain how excited I am to see this thing come together. I told Jo today that when I saw these pics I had a little "pinch me" moment. I can't believe this thing is mine. Never in my wildest dreams...

I kinda like the layed back A pillars, keeps you from cutting the top into a million pieces. Looking mean!

Very Kool & Nice. Rooman will be throwing some nitro down your injectors ! :)

  21. Mark, this one is a keeper for sure. I've got way to much heart and soul into this one. That may sound funny coming from someone that isn't actually building the car, but I have countless hours into planning out every last detail in this thing.

God willing, this coupe and my '34 are gonna be around a long time.

I've never been a big fan of much over 4" chops on 32's or leaned A pillars, BUT, i REALLY like the profile!!
