Another quality custom from Browns Metal Mods. Nice job Gary ,Dylan and Kevin, the car is amazing. I like the suede paint and wouldnt change a thing.

hell! Cisneros always builds bad ass cars. Improving on them is real difficult.

Looks fantastic! It's great to see guys like Kevin Anderson and shops like Brown's Metal Mods keeping the kustom torch lit. Hope to see this one in person somewhere - maybe Salina?

My car also happens to be in suede. (but it's not finished). Beautiful lines and great flow. Gotta love a great chop on a 5 window!

 

Holy crap! I was hoping I'd eventually figure out what car this was - noticed hotrodpodo's tiny pic of it in this Friday's art show thread and recognized it immediately. Followed it back to the Iron Invasion threads and got the name!

I'd seen it at the Dogs 'n Suds one Saturday night in Greenwood when my wife and I had gone out to Jockamo's. Definitely my favorite car there that night. Just gorgeous - very, very well done. Hope to see it in TRJ!

 

The car looks fabulous. The one small change I would suggest is to flip the front bumper. The car appears to "frown" and reversing it would help carry the curved line of the fenders to flow across the front of the car. The reshaped trunk opening is something Ford should have done and giveup the rumble seat. Very inspired design.

That 36 is bad ass! keep it up!

 

That has to be one of my favorite instrument panels that I've ever seen. The beautiful gloss blue on the dash would be so perfect on the outside of the car too.

I'm still thinking that flat or no gloss look stems from guys spending so many hours looking at the old black and white magazine photos that made shiny paint look satin or flat unless the light was perfect.

 

WOW!! Fantastic!! Do you have any shots of the AC unit installation any supply air tubes?? WOW!!

 

Budro, The a/c unit is an A/C only unit mounted below the package tray area. The air intake vent is installed through the back panel near the floor and draws air from inside the passenger compartment. The unit expells its cold air through two vents in the headliner sail panels. The vents are installed at an angle that forces the air to blow forward along the headliner to the front of the car instead of freezing the back of your head. It works really well. The condenser is mounted under the rear of the car with a large electric fan. It stands nearly vertical between the 4-link bars. The previous owner installed the Chevy without recessing the firewall leaving no room for an engine cooling fan. There is an electric fan mounted in pusher style ahead of the radiator consuming all space where a condensor would normaly sit.
