I just passed this '32 five window sitting outside. Those blue tarps do not last very long nor do they provide much protection from the elements....Sad.

1959 Dodge conv found in 1989 and being restored. It's not mine, but I'm searching for one and offer a nice reward to anyone who finds one like this for me.

Sitting in a metal scrap yard, 1956 Chevy! Been driving past it for years! I'm sure he wants too much! ImageUploadedByTapatalk1349923698.717400.jpg

Yeah man, just ask, what does it hurt?

  9. Hey that's Army equipment. The property book officer has probably been looking for it for years! :D

  10. The big truck here is a '40 or '41. Without the chrome on the hood and the center of the grille, impossible to tell which. Always liked the front end styling of the '40-'41 big trucks which carried over '38-'39 front fenders.

The guy is "selling it" here is what his add on cl says:

"I have done enough research (not to mention bought enough) to know what this is. Please don't offer me 300 bucks I'm not looking to get rich, but not giving it away either.

    Trades I'm looking for:
    Motorbike, cruiser or enduro only.
Shop tools, (tire machine, lift, welder, etc...)
Or...? Make me an offer. You never know.
The only things I'm not interested in is guns, (unless its a super black hawk, AND, a 30/06 or similar)
Or car audio or video game stuff."

  12. Does anyone like these things? The leather interior looked great last time I looked. About 80k original miles on it.

As depressing as this thread can be.. It inspires me to go find stuff! in fact in the 60 minutes since skimming through the last 10-15 pages,, I have made an offer on a '57 Dodge panel.

  15. Be worth dragging home for the interior.....

All they do is trap moisture coming up from the ground.
Bad enough to park it on an unpaved area, but to add one of those tarps just speeds up the rotting process.
    Marinating the car in moisture.

That tree going thru the steering wheel rim and window frame (Page 129) both at the same time is probably a first. Is there some kind of Hall of fame for something like this?.

I would be willing to bet its a 41. Every 40 I have seen has the V/8 embosed in the side of the hood .

Bajones238 great pictures, you have a good eye and nice equipment....and just a question...I, like many of you, have a "rescue all mistreated car" syndrome, but does that put us in the "gonna fix up some day" category because we have 5 in the barn? Granted we do fix them when we can and when the fund's or wife allow us to....I guess as long as we find them good homes or spark an interest in the kid who is driving a eagle talon with a turbo and calling it a hot rod, we are doing our jobs, I think?
