RIP Norm! Thanks for the laughs! This was taken at the 2011 LSRU. He asked me if I knew how to pose for a photo, then showed how its done! ImageUploadedByTJJ1350063252.843319.jpg

Always a genuine smile and something funny to say. Not many like him left.

I've never met Norm but those who have always had nothing but good things to say about him. He even inspired me to make my own skull shift knobs.

Like ones have said earlier, he lived a great life. Even after his passing, he will live in this world forever in our hearts and in our American history. He will live on through our hobby and the big screen. Up and coming hot rodders will build "traditional" Kookie cars and carving "traditional" skull shift knobs. He will be dearly missed. Godspeed Norm.

many of you are aware that Norm Grabowski has been quite ill this past year. It's with deep sorrow that I ask you to pray for his family for he passed away around 5 this morning. As our sorrow fades my family will remember our beloved Norm with a smile, and know how blessed we are for having him in our lives.

  12. I never got a chance to meet Norm but if I had I would've have thanked him for everything. Norm was, is and always will be what hot rodding is all about for me. I'm looking up at the sky today listening for the thunder and keeping an eye out for clouds with burnout marks a mile long. RIP Norm.

Norm had the personality and talent to have succeeded in nearly any endeavor. I'm glad he chose hotrodding.

To me, he was truly someone who could honestly say: "I did it my way"

    Rest In Peace, brother

  14. RIP, Norm - you are the best hot rodding has to offer.

  15. My condolences and prayers for his family and friends left behind. A big hole has been left in the hot rod world, but certainly a bigger hole in their hearts. God bless.

Norm's Kookie T was one of my inspirations when I was young, like a lot of us. A true forefather has gone ahead, and touched many lives along the way. Godspeed, Norm...

So sad. Had the pleasure of meeting Norm several times. At the Eureka Springs Antique Auto. Festival he was presenting the plaques to the winners. Was a blast to have him present me with an award.
What a wonderful ambassador for our hobby. He will be missed in so many ways. I'm sure Heaven is in stitches right now with him doing all his jokes. R. I. P. my brother.
