Starting to fill out my calendar for this year and was wondering what are the must not miss car shows in my area. I live just outside Cincinnati,Ohio.

I have been in the past to the following,

    NSRA South
    NSRA Nationals
    Good Guys Indy
    Good Guys Columbus
    Frog Follies
    Hot Rod Reuinion Bowling Green
    Pumkin Run

Would like to hit some new ones this year and maybe a Rock a billy event or 2. This will be the first year on the road for my Model A coupe on duece rails.

    looking for suggestions,

    Thanks

These are on my list for road trips
    S.R.N. Louisville
    S.R N.N. Kalamazoo, Mi.
    R.M.S.R.N. Pueblo, Co.
Hershey A.A.C.A Fall Meet (swap Meet)

  4. With the way Vintage Torque Fest is growing I would say add that to your list! And some of the KKOA shows such as Salina, Ks!

Road Rocket Rumble in Indy is always a good time and would be well worth your drive from Cincinnati.

I know this is a day late a $3,000 short, but Next year, try to make it to the Ducktail Run in Gas City, IN. and the James Dean Run just south of that in Fairmount, IN. Both are the same weekend (usually last weekend in Sept.) and you can easily cruise between both.

The Newport Hillclimb is a great show, if you like to see stock antique cars along with rods.

No doubt about it the Hot Rod Reunion in Bowling Green Kentucky one of the country's best. Nostalgia drags not a lawn chair event.

love to do the power tour..just for the driving aspect of it..would rather drive than sit in a chair beside it.

  14. I'll chime in for the Adirondack Nationals in Lake George, NY. Mostly muscle, but a little of everything (pre 80 IIRC); and a great scene. The whole town gets into it, including an "anything goes" cruise down main street. Ever seen a nostalgia alcohol funny car do a burnout right in the middle of town?

The Oakland Roadster Show is now the AMBR in Pomona.

Can't believe nobody has mentioned SEMA, coming up Oct 30th in Vegas

Not an actual show but Bonneville speedweek should be at the top of everyones list.I've been to enough shows in my life that they all are kind of the same but being at Bonneville on the salt at dawn is awe inspiring and a sure way to reignite and inspire your hot rodding life style!

  20. I've said it before, and I'll say it again....

I love hot rods, kustoms, classics, muscle cars, exotic European cars, and everything in between....but if I had to pick just one show to go to for the rest of my life, it would be Pebble Beach....again....:D
