Any more greater IL car shows?

I know Iron Invasion JUST happened, but I also JUST happened to get my '64 Caddy...and would love some end of year cruise opportunities.

Morris is supposed to have a big show this coming weekend.

 

Run out to Morris this weekend for their newly-added October Saturday Night Cruise on the 13th (the summer cruises draw 800+ cars).

Then stay over or come back the next day for the Lion's Club show (1200+ cars) at the chemical plant on Rt.6 east of town. Plus a huge swap meet. You won't be disappointed.

 

Theres a good cruise in in Bloomington/Normal this sat. its @ the shoppes of college Hills behind von mauer. typicaly 250-300 cars

theres also a great show in morris on sunday 1000+ cars big swap meet & a car coral.

 

Good to know! Is the Morris show more traditional HAMB type rides, or a "typical" car show?

Try for Morris this coming Sunday. Rain date is the following Sunday. Last year was over 1,000 cars. Google Morris Lions Club Car Show for full details.

 

if your going to morris get there early. Last year I got there at 10:30 and was in the overflow parking.

Broadway Bob Memorial Drags at Great Lakes Dragaway Fri-Sat Oct 12-13 in Union Grove Wisconsin.

 

This is late in the season and more geared for original cars...but its open to anyone and its a lot of fun. The "Brighton Run" on Sunday, November 12th.

Morris is a good time. I went last year. Good swap meet if your looking for stuff. Nice rides good food.

 

The Git Down at Hala Kahiki, October 20th. Its shaping up to be real nice show.

 

Go to the memorial drags at the grove and the Kreepers party on Sunday. Those are going to be the kind of shows you want to be at!
