hello everyone, new to the H.A.M.B.... just a heads up, I'm not much a writer and shy so a bunch of this will probably make no sense ALSO I have a Compton education so a bunch will also be misspelled. My name's Rick born n raised in Compton but now live in Downey. been into cars for as long as I can remember, I got into hot rods about 9 years ago and havent looked back since. just like many people some of my first work wasnt exacly a work of art, but it did provide me with the knowledge to do better NEXT time. I try to pay attention and take advice from those that have been there and done that, but you still gotta make your own mistakes to learn what "to do" and what "not to do". lets see, what else, what else,..... ahhh yes, current project. Im currently working on a 1929 Ford Sport Coupe, I know what youre thinking "oh, a sport coupe" . but what you have failed to realize ladies and gentlemen is that I HAVE A VISION. I plan on building an all out mid to late 50s hot rod with a lot of chrome and goodies to make people stand up and take notice. NOW..... keep in mind, I am just an average guy with a below average IQ and I job that pays even less than that, its garage built and budgeted to death so it wont be in a museum or anything like that. Im broke people cut me a break! i have been collecting the right parts for my car and am finally underway. im not exactly computer litterate so you wont see me on here everyday like George and Tim (GEORGE, TIM.. I know your watching) but I will be on whenever i get a chance. speaking of losers, I try to keep these animals in line (along with others) with monthly spankings and rubber hose beatings also know as Cavalier C.C. meetings. yes, I'm mixed up with "that" bunch. Ok, I guess I'll wrap it up here. hate to cut it so short but I wanna leave you guys thirsting for more rantings from a shy lil nubie like myself. thanx for reading and remember..... only you can prevent forrest fires. thanx

Holey crap. It took you almost three years to come up with that crappy intro? Well welcome to the forum. Compton/Downey? Sounds like some far away place far far away from NW Floriduuh.I'll bet it's on some western coasted state someplace. Even there cars guys are cool even though real hotrodding began on the east coast. .;)
Have fun with your Model A and try to think of something to write before another three years passes. Some of us don't have that much time left in this cruel cruel world.
I have no idea what those Double D's and C's mean but life without tits and tires would be very boring.
Again welcome from the third coast.:D
