how do I lower my 35 ford headlights

    I'm looking for how I can lower my 35 Ford headlight buckets. Has anyone done this, pictures would help.

    heres what mine has, maybe too low for your taste.

  4. I saw a tech somewhere, where they drilled out the rivets holding the mount into the shell and then re-attached it with spacers which recessed it further into the shell. You could also
    "chop" the stands to lower them some too.

    Basically you channel them over the stanchions / like mentioned above.

    I did it to BLC's on mine

    I think I remember using '46 Chevy truck headlights mounted on the fenders.

    May not have been '46 Chevy, but something similar.

    They looked bitchin'.

    Anybody remember the thread on lowering the lights, can't seem to locate it?

  10. It seems to me that I saw an article in the last year or two where they sunk the stands into the fender.

    I think that either solution will work either sinking the stands into the light or into the fender.

    I also remember seeing an article about a 35 or 6 that has Indian motorcycle lights built into the fenders.
