Well I finally got the cowl and part of the body roughed in.Lots of epoxy resin and sanding to do.I made the dimensions up 'cause I'm a big old fat guy.
The back I'm going to curve more, it looks like a cigar-box.Any comments would be appreciated.I have a 307 with 305 HO heads,t350 trans or I might go with a 4 banger and overdrive auto.

If I had the talent to do that kind of work I would! That car is awsome.
I'll probably put on removable M/C fenders.

Just proves "it ain't what ya do, it's the way how ya do it". Wooden bodies can be blocky and blah. This one is neat.

What will you do with the frame and body mounts?

The frame will be 2x3 tube with about a 10 inch Z in back, bagged in rear.
1/4 eliptical sprung Chevy van axle over the notched frame. The body, wich will be glassed inside and out, will sit on rubber isolators bolted to the frame.

Should be very cool when finished. Used to be a big Grabowski "henway" fan and appreciate workmanship with wood.

Everyone else on this board knows that you can't build a decent frame out of 2x4's.....you gotta use at least a 2x6, preffereably pressure treated to keep termites out.

What thickness plywood are you gonna use for the windshield?
