Weather held off till sometime after midnight, then light rain till around 07:00 when it began to rain a little harder. By 08:00 it was back down to a slow drizzle.
Little wet packing up to leave, but to my knowledge no one melted!
Tony, I thought you were staying for the night, but then the next thing I knew, someone said you left. We had fun tioll midnight or so, sorry you missed out.
Russ, Kevin, Ken Moore and his lady, and I ate @ Ms. Julie's in Butler. Russ and Kevin got the last of the country ham, dammit! But the city ham was good.
Talked to Russ a few minutes ago and he was in Jonesboro on US 41/19 almost to I75.
Had a good talk yesterday afternoon with Ed Swearingen, track owner & promoter, and next year we're gonna try to get the word out with more advance notice.

It took me a while to find out where everyone was parked; but I managed a few pictures. Got to meet Dave (Dirty Old Man) toward the end of the day.

  23. Great vids! Carl are you side stepping your clutch to launch like that?

Sorry I bailed - just wasn't feeling it. Kim got the dog ashes back Friday and called crying a couple time - which was not out of the norm - but just not my rowdy self. Its too bad because my trunk was full of fireworks.
