Man, ain't that the truth, John. Just watched the DVD last night and Ed was everywhere. Especially enjoyed the auction segment where one can catch a glimpse of the "real" Ed.

Right now I have 3 rooms available at 3 different hotels, and will need to get rid of 2. I will let you know when I let go of those if anyone needs a room.

We hit Ducktail in Gas City Friday and Saturday, then it was over to James Dean in Fairmount on Sunday and a little 150 mile ride home. I can't wait to do it all over again this weekend for the Iron Invasion! Since our season is coming to a halt got to make these end of the year shows a BANG!

 

I'll be there with a buddy but the ford will not be ready so I guess we will just be spectators this year.

 

anyone up for meeting around hwy -20 and 94 for a caravan down to the show. i heard some are meeting in the grove to. lots of rods heading down from se. wi.

 

please keep in mind to get there early....
the traffic on Route 47 gets bad around 930 am in Woodstock.
Thanks and hope everyone can stay late - car club picks and the Merlin Award ($500 to the best home built traditional build for 2012) will be given around 5:30pm.
After that the Afterdarks and a flame show reprise.
Camping is allowed overnight on Friday and saturday.
a LOT of people are coming to the pre party which is open to the public at 6pm on the grounds.
Should be a good time.

I'll be driving the studebaker up from northwest IN. Planning on parking in the secondary lot cause of the modern tires.

 

headed up from the peoria area either friday about 430 or early saturday morning. not sure yet. Ill know probably friday afternoon.
Anyone else going to be headed up that way wanna cruise? Just got me and my copilot with lots of stuffed crammed in with us to camp.
