not a ragtop, but i snagged a pretty nice 62 coupe deville today.... got those nasty 18" lowrider wires on it now... but since it's under my care, we're going to skinny supremes and narrow white walls, plus a whole lotta new goodies.

photos tomorrow when i get time.

Love that car. I know most hate it but i think is mean as hell, even with the "tribal" flames.

This Caddy was built for Kent Kozera by Windel "BUTCH" Reid in Visalia CA. It was upholstered by Jimmy Z's Auto Interiors out in Morro Bay. I believe it was featured in Rod & Custom, not sure could have been another publication but it was featured in the 90's. It was sold to Kirstie Alley(CHEERS, LOOK WHO'S TALKING etc...)and then given to her assistant, after that it disapears off the radar. Does anyone know where it is today?

You know your caddy wouldnt be so bad if you actually knew how to do some kustom metal work! It looks like you slapped on some rims and had somebody lower it for you. The top on that '59 is a work of art!

I'm thinkin that submarine needs to be yellow, I like the chopped top, although most 59 and 60 caddies really don't need a chop, just a lowering. If done properly, the chop can look pretty sweet. And as to the two that have just been put back on the road, I too know that feeling. My 60's finally rolling around by its own power. It's rusted, busted, and ugly, and I love driving it again!!! Couldn't wipe the smile off with a 5 inch grinder :)

as a matter of fact, yes i am! haha.

one of these days i'll get some work done on it but i'm concentrating on school right now. and i did lower it myself. i cut the springs rather than heat.

being that you're from CO, you don't know what good styling is. maybe it's the rear window that makes it look like ass. let's be real here, the '59 stock roof is perfect right from the factory, there's no need to chop it.

Great pic's By the way I need some help.. I have a '48 caddy and I want to put power steering into it. Does anybody have an easy fix ? I have bolted in a1976 caddy box but pitman arm is not capatible with the ball type arms. Do you think late model tie rods will fit the early spindles?? Has anyone out there with 48 done a conversion. Thanks

You're thinking too much. Go on to the next picture.

It's a sleeper. It had a 454 dual turbo and tube chassis.

That´s a nice piece right there! Hard to think of anything to improve the looks on one of these.
