Wow, the attention to detail on that car is something to study. No big dollar parts outside of the obvious but so many small pieces that they spent that "extra" bit of time on to make them just right and so very simple. Thanks for sharing the link, it goes into my resource file.
Very nice! As far as I know nobody had posted any details on the kickup or Z'ed front on a Bones chassis. Look forward to more photos. Bob

Thanks for posting the link, Bob --- Very nice Sedan! Z'ed front? I didn't notice that in any of the photos. They typically use a 'flattened' Model A front crossmember and mount the spring through the 'bones... just as this car has. Malcolm
My mistake, the weld bead on top of the rail is were the frame gets pinched to allow the hood to sit parallel to the chassis. If you look at the Doan Spencer chassis there is a bump or z just behing the front crossmember that allows the car to sit lower. Bob
