Got to spend just a few hours here, this show just gets bigger and better every year. More quality rides too, and the few r** r**s actually were decently built. I know some Hambers were there so feel free to sound off.
Looks like a good show with some nice rides. I told myself last year around this time that I was going to try to make it this year, but I'm sorry to have missed it. It was one I really wanted to make. Murphy's law has been spending as much time on my car as I have been lately. Smokey
Yeah, I'd have liked to get more pics but ran out of battery on my camera. I was surprised at the number of nice gassers there. Hopefully somebody can jump in and post a few more that I missed. There were quite a few borderline non hamb friendly ones that were still very cool in their own right; lots of homebuilt drivers.
Here are a few more. Some shot at the Shopko parking lot in the early light. The last one has some nice background. See if you can find Santa, a couple more midwestern beauties and the Judson Electronic Magnito I used as a defibulator right after I took that shot.
Looks like the quality of cars has improved significantly...think the RR thing is finally dead from ridicule...??? R-
Lookin good Rob Lee, the weather had to be near perfect. Looks like a good show this year. Oh love the avitar picture Gary
Oh yeah, Rob Lee's hot rod Lincoln burns up the hiway again and represents the S.O.T. automotive brotherhood. Thats our buddy Roy's checked firewall on his bad boy A coupe behind Rob's roadster in the picture. And a couple of nice shots of Grand Island Nebraskas Liz Gerberdings cool green Stude coupe built by her hubby Gary Gerberding for her. Gary was recently voted into the K.K.O.A. Hall Of Fame builders group!! Danny K's Chevy sedan lookin fine as always also. Nothin like a trip to the Corn Palace!! ~sololobo~
Yea , good time this yr. Alot of good quality cars and didn't need a tetnis shot this yr. Got pics but don't have em up loaded from camera yet. Chick by the gray T is a good friend of mine, she had a blast, got her pic by quite a few cars this yr.
So, does she have a sister?? A nice showing of cars. I hadn't been to Mitchell since I lived there in '89. Wish I could have stayed longer to make it worth the $30 entry, but just ran up and back Saturday between sun up and sundown. Had to run the old Chevy pretty hard to make it in that time frame.
I didn't take any pictures, but had a great time! I couldn't believe how may people were there! the street was packed for 3 hours! I was busy with little kids, i let them sit in my "hot rod" and let mom take pictures. there must be 100's of pictures somewhere
