In my opinion, you should be flying out to see the Showdown drags, then consider driving over to the Rodders Journal show the next day if you have any gas left after watching some of the best nostalgia racing, mini bike drags, flash light drags, and then the one and only rubber band war! Count me in. Just spectating with my 7 year old. We went to the stick shift show a couple weekends ago and it ruined my son. Now all he talks about is how much he loves Beaver. I think its funny...mom...not so much...

We'll Be there with our 48 Austin Gasser. Haven't missed one yet! First time bringing a car to race though! Usually we go to Carlise and can't bring a car, and hit this up on the way home, but it's not the same weekend! Looking forward to a great time.

BTW if you liked the trophies Mike Sholley made last year, you still have a chance to win one since we got rained out! We will announce the last two rounds of the day, best times in the classes those rounds wins the trophies...NO eliminations...wear it out fellas!!!

Just got an email from Worm at Cen-Pen Speed Shop letting me know they will be bringing 4 or 5 front engine dragsters to run Saturday!
The weather just keeps getting better! IF there would be a problem, I'll post here...dont look for it!
