Hi. Been a lurker for awhile and decided to get on board. I have a '53 Mercury Monterey 2-door sedan that I am trying to finish up (all stock except some light mods). So, I am interested in all experiences and advice from more seasoned members. Going to try going with a change out of the 3 speed OD for a C-4 and wanted to know if others have done the same (what am I in for!!!)...

Cool. I will do that. I see that you are in Poulsbo. I am just up the road and across the Hood Canal bridge (in Shine / Bridgehaven area). I will have to check out the NW Hambers group. I plan on posting a picture album of this "53 Merc soon.
