Very cool... and so close. I'm gonna check this out. You should post the info here too: Chicago customs where do you hang out? http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=575996
Wow Imma bump this up.....All you locals should support this place. One of the last of the real "tiki" establishments left in the Chicago area. The folks that own it are super nice and real supportive of the tiki community in the area. Man great place for a car show!!
Chef Shangri-La is a local joint that me and my girlfriend frequent regularly. Good food and great drinks for sure. This should make a cool spot for a small show. For those that drink, easy on the Dr Fong's!. That drink will sneak up on you!
49 days away! yeah my wife went to high school with a member of the owners family at chef shangri la. its a staple for us and the Fongs will mess you up boy!
Our band just played there at the Fong Music Fest at Chef Shangrila. Should be a great time, having a car show there! I live so close, I will probably bring two cars.
Due to a schedule conflict that arose at Chef Shangri La, this event is moving down the road a bit to Hala Kahiki in River Grove. I'll start a new thread to help minimize confusion due to the thread title. New thread is here: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=736674
