That's clever idea! Looks very period too! Mine is an old vintage trunk light/plate frame marked, "Yankee 331 Norwalk, Conn." I'm sure it's something added to meet US or Canadian laws.

Just got back from a week's vacation and checked out the changes on the Plymouth! The tires/wheels and whole car look fantastic! Nice to see it looking so close to completed!

Great looking ride, I dig it without the front "Wings" on! Work is slow on mine, just shot the frame with Rustoleum and working on making it a roller. What will we do when you finish???

I know the feeling when your in full swing of project mode, the grass is too long, the gutters need cleaned, the old crappy mail box has to wait a little while to be replaced, and the wife is a little more testy than normal. But its all worth it when you get to run it around the block for the first time! I never stop looking for the next project but I know it will have to be basically kept in storage, or shelve the current project! But yeah who really needs new clothes and tooth brushes, unless you need to scrub down an old carb that is!

Stupid question here but why doesn't that timing cover work with an 8" converter? I didn't know it made a difference. Is is something to do with the 2 piece design not clering the balancer?

That photo gave me a chuckle. I've got a Mr. Gasket hood pin set that I've had since the late '70s, still in the package. Not sure if I even want to open it now.

The grille looks fantastic! Very nice touch with the black and silver look. Hope you get the paint work done before winter completely sets in!
