Billetproof CA 2012 Photos and Thanks

Wow... I'm whipped.... been on about a month long string of putting on shows and we saved the best for last. Billetproof CA 2012. Billetproof's 16th year. The weather was perfect, just warm enough to make ya want an ice cold beer from the Antioch Lions (proceeds going to charity) and just cool enough that no one baked. 850 cars, 3000+ people, 2 great bands, a pin-up contest, a pin-up dunk tank that raised money for Scarlet Fever, Lots of great food from local restaurants.... that sets the stage for a good time. On top of all that The Road Zombies set up a great display of 60's flat bottom drag boats, Eagle Field brought out some drag cars from some cackle action and we had a nice display of vintage travel trailers. Alex Gambino took a turn in the dunk tank as well. Great fun.

Thanks to the Dragoons of Antioch for all their hard work as the host club and thanks to all that came and had a good time. We'll see you next year!!

Can you take "noisy stuff"? I had to work yesterday, or I could have brought the 427 Galaxie- it's still in the trailer. Not recommended if there's finicky neighborhoods nearby

What a blast. Thanks Allen and the Goons for another great year. I've been to 15 of them,sadly I didn't hear about the first one. It was a great time saw old friends and met new ones. Thank you to all of you who support me.

 

This is actually a scooter that was built by the blastolene fella. Last time I saw it it had an asking price of $20,000!!!
