Got the tranny back in, replaced the right front spring, and hooked up the front shocks! see you in the morning Spokane boys!

 

Glad Jill was there to fix your car Mike. I cant wait for you to scatter that tranny when that thing is screaming down the highway!

It looks like you have about another 20 minutes wait Rob. They are supposed to be done by about 8:30 according to the web site. http://www.wsdot.wa.gov/projects/i90/whatshappening

My sister is probably sitting in that same bunch of cars in her Honda.

 

Badass cars! Having a bite and then back out to take pictures. Hoping to cruise back to Seattle at least with some of you guys!

Everybody that made there and back won...lol...what a blast! First trip in the roadster 320 miles ....no probs....WE LOVED IT!.......... A BIG THANK YOU TO "THEE INLAND EMPERORS" ....Great job guys!

 

How bad was the smoke? I was down there yesterday for work and couldn't see the Columbia from the road.

 

It was very bad down there...once you got up the hill no probs...!

 

Great show, definitely worth the drive! Can't wait till next year.

Great show as usual. No problemsfor us except for losing a '36 hubcap off the roadster and the Hudson leaking out 7 qts of oil on the run. Thanks to every one who made the trip. You make this one of the best in the NW for sure.

 

That was a great day. We ended up going back up the old Vantage road to Ellensburg in what felt like gale force wind. Maybe that's why there's a wind farm up that road? Then on the the 97 to Leavenworth and over the pass. Thanks to Devin of the Emperors for tagging along to the start of the pass in his roadster, damn fun chasing you down the pass. Thanks guys, see you next year.

Bill Ross brought out a Merc and had a for sale sign on it.


Flathead powered (I looked) and slick.


Rumor has it that the guy following this Hudson has a very slick windshield right now.
7 quarts slick.

 

Not all of the flatheads were V8 in form.

I don't know who he was but he had the mother load of flathead intakes.

Well I didn't get to stay that long(my Pop turned 80 today ! ) Thank you to Thee Inland Emperors for another great East vs West run !!! I had a blast, great seeing HotRod32(Jack), Chris, Eric , Doug( hope the pulley works out for you) I have to say I was so glad to see Terry's old roadster, he is really the one that pushed me to get a "real hot rod". I'm sure he was smiling down on everyone in Vantage today... Here are some pictures I shot today... Thank you again to The Inland Emperors...

 

This one has been around as long as I can remember and still spins my wheels.


V style windshields were the order of the day it seemed.
