If all goes well, I will take my T bucket up to Tacoma to see the in laws, then Sat morning get up (staying in Ballard with cousins), head to North Bend and sit on the side of the road to meet up with West siders coming from the North end around 8ish? Let me know how to make the timing work to meet up with you guys since I am flying solo. Looking forward to it! Anybody want to road trip with me back to Portland?

 

I bet I could guess what it is!!! But I won't give away the suprise!

 

Looks like the starting time from the Ranch is 7AM as opposed to 6AM in the earlier post. See ya there SAT.

 

What the hell's going on with all the fires on the east side?

 

The eastside guys started them , by firing off there old flatheads getting ready for Saturday ! Geezzzzz ! Good luck to everyone and drive safe !

 

I just got a report that the East side guys set cameras up on I 90 so watch out you West side guys

 

You're right Rob. They all live in grass fields from what I've seen. It's purely a west side block. We'll surely not bring as many cars anyway. But, we know how to ignore smog so a little smoke won't stop anything. It's supposed to be much better tomorrow. Saturday, unless they start more fires, should be a fine day.

 

I knew it !!!! With all the smoke and haze in the south sound ... They are trying to block us , our maybe trying to get people lost !! HMMM (maybe just me )all from showing up !!!

 

It was fine when I came through on Sunday......I did hear they have put in Speed Cameras in the construction zone which is the worst part.....

 

I drove thru hwy 2 last night and it is a bit smokey along the river. Looking down towards Blewitt Pass it looked like the smoke was thicker than along 2 , so expect to smell like a camp fire.

 

Im going to Try and stop by on my way up to spokane to pickup, my new project.....JOHN

 

Jeezeus, i mean....!! i got the coolest place in sultan, not them.... and i have the best hot rod related breakfast too, pbr and pankakes in ford mfg'd gear lube for syrup.... Awe shit i let out my 'special' ingredient....

 

Actually 6:30am leave the Antique Auto Ranch. Meet up with the rest of the crew by 7am in Airway Heights.

For all you guys heading over, the air quality here is in the tank. Have hardly seen the sky this week. Fires ...... pick a direction from here in Ellensburg

Here's a picture of Wenatchee. You should be able to see downtown and mountains in the background. Taken 5 minutes ago. It is really shitty.

 

Not quite that bad here. Bad enuff for me. The fairgrounds here is packed with fire fighters. Blewett Pass would not be a good choice. Cough !
