What a great celebration of summer. Old and new friends, foodies and munchers, musicians and car guys, my sweety and my 4 wheeled sweeties. We all came together to celebrate summer and to have Tyler unveil my shoebox. No it's not a show car but a 35 year dream become reality.

Tyler's one of those amazing guys with incredible skills and a humble spirit who has great respect for what he does but not an inflated ego. I wanted him to unveil it so my friend could honour him for his outstanding work.

What's a get together without a big feed?

Music was supplied by a couple old friend.
Mike on the right had a Rockabilly band in the 80's, "the Delrays". Kevin on the left produced our Cassette we released.

Nothing beats a little Rockabilly and Ventures music on a hot summer afternoon.

    Then there were the cars.

Yes Mary Jane, there was a 54 Flathead in North America... and this car came with it.

Tyler's 50 and mine together. A pretty proud moment for me.

The stainless was done by Tyler Selzer who chopped it. I look at it and think.... amazing.;)

  26. Looks gorgeous. Love the color, is it a custom mix? Not usually a fan of chops like that but yours looks great. I think I'm gonna start looking for a shoebox now ;)

My 41 is packed and ready for its venture across the sea to Germany.
Now my focus will be fully on the 50 and dreaming of doing Viva next year.

Last couple pix of the girls together.
