    '55 Pontiacs are nice! They don't take much to make them look custom.
    Here is a pic of a Pontiac that was for sale... wish I could have afforded it and had the time to make it into a mild custom...

    since mid last year.. they changed the p plate laws to no v8, turbo or supercharged cars:(
    Nice looking poncho man and i would have to agree with you about there not being many! I have only seen 1 55 poncho in melbourne and that was a 2 door Post. if you ever see me around say hello :)

    got the poncho home this week, i love it!

  9. Does any one know if you can bolt a 350 turbo to the stock poncho 287?

    I have the stock 287 in my '55 Chieftain Catalina. You cannot just bolt in anything except the original Hydramatic onto that block - from everything I have read. I am having a 200 4R rebuilt and have ordered an adapter from Wilcap to bolt this up. Not cheap, but the motor has a fresh rebuild on it and I wanted to keep it fairly original.

    Beautiful car .my first car had more bondo than paint lol. your off to a great start.
