Your engine is a 1937/38 with water pumps in the block. I don't know that I have seen any aftermarket 21-stud heads in that style. Ford did make an aluminum head for that engine. They look pretty neat...

Do you have any documentation on the history of the car? Or did someone just make up a neat story about England and the war because they had a RHD chassis from Argentina...I guess I am just skeptical about undocumented "Ebay Folklore". I hope I am wrong... :)

As i said before this is what i was told and the old tires on it say "Made in England" on em as well as the coil and the Heads have a part# with an 'E' and i was told the 'E' stood for Europe again i never claimed to be an expert in 32 fords just stating what i was told ialso was told this is a Eurpean flathead.

  12. Engine is probably from a late 40s English Ford Pilot or Fordson V8 Thames truck.

They did make a few aftermarket heads for the '37/38 21-stud engines. I have a set of Cyclones that will be going on a 21-stud in the next '32 chassis build. I've only seen one other set of these. They've been making the swap meet rounds here in the midwest for the last couple of years - priced like they were cast of gold!! NOS '37/38 factory aluminum heads are available with some looking and decently priced. A friend is running a set of these on his AV8 that I sold him a couple years ago.

Must be from the UK. Not a whole lot of other places that drive in the wrong side in Europe.
Must be really old too because there's a picture of Moses' tablets with the 8 commandments on the heads...
    Awesome car!!!
