I wouldn't even question that. I've stood by in Franks shop many times while John came over to help out. I'm sure he spent even more time in Marcos Garcia's shop (Lucky 7 Kustoms) Not saying Frank had a hand in it I'm just pointing out that the flared rocker was one of his all time fav tricks. He did the same to my 61 Thunderbird years ago. Zocchi may have designed them but he never built shit!

Excuse the wheels. That was the new owners choice.

Usually the trick was just using a round rod welded to the rockers and then sheet metal'd in the give it a flared look. Also before John was up and running and the work went to Oz Kustoms most of Zocchi's cars during the 90's were built by De Rosa.

Here's another Zocchi car by De Rosa. I'm not knocking your ride CHOP 57 its a beautiful car and no disrespect to John. Just saying there are several different influences in the build.

**Yes, the interior was done by Bob Devine, and the front & rear "double deck" console was done by Portage Trim in Ravenna, Ohio and includes speakers & a cup holder.

I remember seeing this car in San Francisco 2008 at the cow palace show in January. Nice looking, subtle, and "super" clean. Was it origianlly owned by Richard Zocchi or did you contract him to build it, cause I remember seeing his name on the window sticker? Either way its still a classy custom in my book.

  9. super looking '64. not the typical platform by any means, but very well executed

This Kustom was designed by Richard Zocchi in 2006. It was repainted in 2010 with a "Watson" type paint scheme. I later had the interior freshen up with a front & rear "double deck" console. The engine compartment was also highly detailed & finished with chrome trim & matching "Ice Blue Pearl" paint.

**I own this 1964 Pontiac Grand Prix. It now has a "Watson" style paint job done by Art Himsl who originally painted it.

F.Y.I. (For your infomation) the car photo in your thread (1959 Plymouth Fury), was chopped 2" by John Aiello at Marco's Lucky 7 & the lower body work was done by De Rosa. Based on the quality of his work, I think John Aiello is one of the BEST!
