Dr Phil's 57 Chevy Stolen

Was watching the news tonight and they had a short quip about Dr Phil's 57 Chevy convertible being stolen out of Burbank. If you have a lead, maybe he'll give you a free talk'in to.

No one should have their car stolen no matter who they are. That said, Dr. Phill should be restricted to nothing more than a rusty Volvo 4 door - there is no way he should be allowed to sit in 57 Chevy let alone own one, IMO.

Dr Phil is a big car guy, just like Mr Leno, and Eric Bana.

 

Maybe get it back with baseball bat dents and a wife beater t-shirt on the front seat. Even if he has a car, he has probably never had grease on his hands and doesn't know shit, he just owns one. Kind of like an investment banker in penny loafers on a rented Harley is a biker. Pretenders suck.

 

Holy shit! whether he built it or just bought it, it doesn't give some fuckup the right to steal it. That is one fucked up statement.................

 

Not a Dr Phil fan either but I do like 57 Chevys to be with their owners.

 

Im not a fan of his but in the paper it said He and a friend tried to fix it but failed had it towed to the shop for repairs. Sounds like you and me. I have rebuilt One trans myself and it worked. Now I let the trans builders do it a lot less brain damage.

Did you not read the article? It stated that he and a friend were trying to fix it and couldn't. So, yea. I think the guy qualifies as a car guy. I've never watched his show, so I won't comment on it.

anyone who would judge the guy is a real tool himself! Most of the guys that commented probably don't own anything worth stealing. If you have ever had anything stolen you wouldn't be bagging on the guy. his money like ours keeps the hobby alive.

Weather he bought or built it, it's his car and he loves it. He works for his money and so effin what if he's successful? How do you know he didn't build it? Who cares? I seriously doubt he gives 2 shits what you think. Maybe he's working too much to wrench, maybe he isn't mechanically inclined.
Whether or not you built it or not is no reflection on your passion. Some of the comments above illustrate just how immature some are. You should experience what it feels like to loose something you loved. I have had 2 cars stolen (neither covered by ins and both very near and dear to me) and it sucks even more than the narrow minded fools who truely are an embarrassment to all HAMBkind here.

It is a TV show. The show is for entertainment just like the other reality shows on ABC. They prep the guests on the show. The show is full of fake drama. He is an actor just like Paul Newman, Steve McQueen, Clint Eastwood, Tim Allen and Harrison Ford. He just does not have good writers and good subjects. In real life he could be completely different like Tim Allen.

 

Oprah can give an audience full of strangers a new car but she can't replace this one for him??
