While waiting for the clutch I machined the T-O brg "Collar" to shorten it .750" to match the GM brg I'd been using. Before modifying the clutch fork I need to go back to the wrecking yard for another look!

Thank You Mark, belongs to good friend Gary Cullins who I couldn't of made it to Billetproof without.

    Thanks Guys!
It worked great with water on the tires, the true test will be at Eagle Field when at the end of the day I'm trying it without water on the tires.
    Thanks guys!

Nope she held together, so far so good.
    Thank You Drew!

Thank You Chris, it was a pleasure meeting you and the boys, and yep LOVE IT!

  25. Rocky, you have lit more then one persons butt into gear this past weekend with your great smoky display, might be surprised to see a few more mothball rails coming out of retirement. Love the attitude who cares who wins its all about just having fun, fry tires, short shift, power shift with the left elbow hanging out the window.

Picking up where I left off starting with my home made in&out box. The Box is now run dry with sealed input and mainshaft brgs. When the tranny was figured out it was time to fit the T-O brg and figure out a T-O Brg Fork, fitting the T-O Brg was as simple as marking the diaphram spring and grinding each finger an 8th of an inch. I was really fortunate to find a "Fork" at Turners Auto Wrecking, Jerry has a "gaggle" of them and patience paid off with a Ford unit that clipped in place of the GM fork...........SWEET!
After all this the car went right back together, only needed some minor adjustments, and after only a "static" test we loaded it on the trailer and the Twin performed flawlessly @ Billetproof. The next major test will be at the end of the day on Oct 6th, after making passes with some water on the tires I'm goona put it to the firewall, drop the hammer and see if I get the results of 1960 I'm looking for :D
