Tore it apart and realized it was too far gone so I scrapped it . LOL

It needs a driver hood top ( I might be able to fix this one ) it needs a driver side rocker , cowl patch , lower quarter patch. The passenger side needs lower quarter patch only ! Floors are perfect ! The steel panel that hides the wiper motor is rotted a bit . A d I'm missing the driver side rear quarter window garnish molding ........ Location is still a secret because the guy tells me he has a couple NOS 33 or 34 grills in the house and a 15 year collection of flatty speed parts that he quit collecting in 66 . Once I get my hands on the stuff it will be available ! ( I'm not greedy ) just want to get some stuff I need before someone else gets it all ...... There is your update for now !

You can make all those pieces! Just remember what Gene taught you at the workshop, get some 18 guage and start beating on it and pretty soon you have a part!!

i pressure washed the shit outta it and actually blew a couple holes in it that i didn't realize were rotted so bad . the bolt in panel that covers the wiper motor blew apart when i hit it and some chicken wing bones and rat carcasses blew outta it the inner wheel wells are worse than i thought . and there is some deep pitting on the cowl top . it's a true beauty as far as east coast cars go . and far from bad !! just not as nice as i thought . .......maybe i should go try to get some of my money back !! LOL

after i traded boosters old coupe off to texas for a roadster i was hoping to come up with another coupe (but a model A) . it worked out perfectly that i bought this 33 just 3 days before i sold the roadster so i will have a little extra gingle to put into the 33 although i am leaning heavy towards just getting it running and driving and leaving it alone for a while !!! very much a post war late 40's early 50's vibe project .

well i just wanted to throw a couple pics up on here . i am working up plans and getting quotes for a building in my backyard to work on a couple projects i have right now so i haven't done much but i can't not touch it so i just hit it with a flapper wheel on a grinder and knocked a bunch of heavy surface scale shit off it . found exactly where it needs patches and assessed its needs and ordered pretty much all of the stuff to repair the body . i found that the original color on the car was COACH MAROON and it may end up that color again although my heart was set on gloss black for the chassis and body . still have not made it out to get my hands on the flatty parts or the grills he has so i'm unable to post the PO 's info yet !! i grabbed a set of super nice kelsey hayes bent spokes here on the hamb with 7.50 x 16 rear and 6.00 x 16 front firestone blackwalls so i mounted them up to get an idea of stance . it has a dropped axle in it from 1949 that the previous owner drilled and mounted up to his unsplit drilled bones and i am going to leave it un split and un channeled so i needed to get a decent amount of rubber rake . i still may go with a smaller diameter front but i really dig the stance .

here are a couple current pics

ha ha , i wish although i did just score a rebuilt 59 A flatty ,trans and spare block , a set of 24 stud offy heads that are very nice and a fenton 2x2 intake for it . i have a magnesium frankland quicky center laying around that i am entertaining the thought of using in here . my buddy kustom1957 might have just scored me the early ford pickup bells etc. etc. that i would need to make it happen so we'll see . as of right now it is merely a polished turd !!!! with some damn nice wheels i might add :)

You're right, it does have a great stance.

The 33/34's are a great looking car right from the factory. You don't need to do anything to them.

I recently got a survivor 33 5W back on the road, just concentrating on what it needed to drive. I had a great time doing it. I hope you have as much fun as I did.

That looks good. Did it have any speed parts on the original engine ? Obviously it was a hotrod at some point .
