BOMBSHELL BETTY XO /GCC Bonneville record

One of the coolest cars I have ever seen.All business!!The look alone covers so many different angles.Very inspiring.I wish I was there to hear and see it go go go.

Brock, isn't Gunther the young guy that built the Bonneville Special? IS he a member here? I was very impressed with his craftsmanship.

I wish I had more time to talk to you on the salt, however; I always seemed to be working on the Belly Tanker... Maybe next year two "XO" cars could pit beside one another once again....

Gunther is my 60+ pro photographer buddy who bought and raced the Bonneville Flyer . The younger dude that built it is a guy named Pat.
I think his company is called Sportsman cycles (or something??? )

I do not think he's a member. Hangin around me has given him the "bug", but he's a fairly new hot rodder.

Lizzy is still on the road following Route 66 eastwards towards Chicago in the 1974 Westfalia, then home to Montreal. I got a notice today that she has joined HAMB as Tin_Lizzy.
