Well we got most the metal work done on it and the car runs and drives now but I had to take a break to finish my old 39 sedan for Rex from the gearheads, I got carried away and blew the whole thing apart and did a frame off, it's painted a light metalic blue with tiki flake on it and it is just aboat done, we also started on a 32 three window and we finished a 72 el camino, so like you , I have been busy with customer cars..

Thanks! Yesterday was finally judgment day for the merc. It's the first time out of the garage since the work began and Im really pleased with how it's turning out! Normally when I chop a car I like to roll it out several times during the process to get a far away look at the shape, but since I was basically recreating the chop from my merc I didn't really need to this time. Still need to lower the front a couple inches but I think the back is perfect. Oh and It got a fresh set of powder coated wheels and brand new 6:00 16" Lesters!

I still need to metalfinish the passenger side but the basic shape is right.

The drivers side is all metalfinished with the exception of the front windshield area.

Thats about it for a while. Were going to take a little break and hunt for some parts, but I'll be back on it soon! Thanks again for all the positive comments!

Thanks, I'm glad your happy Reno! It's been quite the adventure! Here's a couple before and after shots so you don't have to go back to the beginning. Now lets find some good parts for this beauty!
