I have been working on my 48 2 door sedan for a while now, you guys have trouble lining up the doors on these cars and getting the gaps nice? My driver side door is rubbing on the rocker extension (foot scraper) but it doesn't look like I can raise the door because it will hit the top by the drip rail! any tips would be great, I am am terrible at body work!

It's been a few months since I have driven the 47, but I snuck out today for a little while. I had to laugh, as an older couple went around me on a side road in a Toyota Pries (sp) they about hopped the curb while starring & giving me the thumbs up. :) I really need to drive this car more.

46 Grilles are the best and the body lines have a nice flow.
Parts show up on the Bay quite often and Chevs of the 40s has a lot of stuff

This was my wifes first school car she burned the clutch up and her dad took it and never fixed it, he gave it back to her 30 year later, Iwas more into to it than she was, she lost a battle to cancer 2 years ago, so I am going all out on it. It will have an LS1, all power, almost done.

  14. I've got a bomb that I'm just trying to get on the road. One thing about these cars is fenders are a pain in the ass to find. I found 1 and it was in California way to far from me to bother. The overall look of the car is sweet. And make a great custom.
