Thanks for the kind words. I took well over a hundred shots of the car over 3-4 sessions; I regret not shooting more detail. I tend to get lost in capturing the look and forget about detail. I'm glad I am able to show some of the details properly.

If I click on it twice it gets pretty big. Brock, that was me that told you to make the HAMB proud just before your run Tuesday. And you did just that, congrats on the records broken.

Thanks so much for sharing your pictures!! I made it to Bonneville one year and since it kills seeing pictures like yours. It is such a beutifull place, and you add hotrods to it and wow!!!

  15. How's this??

  16. I would have to differ here. Do not use a pressure washer. It pushed the salt into all the crevises and it rusts from the inside out. wash it as best you can on the outside with a hose and hand, then put your lawn sprinkler under car, moving it every couple hours for a day or so, then start the detail cleaning. I took my personal truck out there once....once.

    On topic, amazing pics...

X2. Some of these shots just take my breath away. The quality of light at that place looks to be like nowhere else, judging by some of these photos, and some of Dougs. Surreal.

  28. On the Mariani Roadster................Does anyone know any more info on those Billet Specialty wheels/wheelcovers? They cover part of the sidewall, I am curious.

I love this one. I was there in 1990 and took the second photo. Looks like they put on a lot more streamlining in 22 yr.

So which one of those valves or switches sends beer from that keg to the driver? Is that really such a good idea at 200 mph?;) Anyone know what that really is used for?

Thanks for all the great pics, Tom - it' not the same as being there, but you capture the feel of the place well. Maybe I'll get there next year....on the bucket list.
