He's clearly visible at 3.36 but by 3.40 he's gone, absolutely nuts, it's got to be an optical illusion people just don't disappear, unless they're atomic aliens.

How many remember watching Dick Lane live on KTLA channel 5 from the Hollywood Legion calling the fights and wrestling matches?

Check out the ground strap on the '56 wagon at 1:17 -1:20. My wagon had a strap when I bought it. Was this for added protection or did they need it?

  6. Pretty cool vid.

Years ago when the lights turned green everybody WENT like NOW.

These days, light turns green, nobody moves till they shake off their
drug induced (prescription or illegal) stupor, finish a few more sentences on the cell, look around, wake up a little more, then they think about letting off the brake....maybe.
4 cars back, and ya ain't makin the caution this time 'round........

I had to rewatch it because I did remember at least one 30's car. At 3:15 behind the green telephone truck making a left turn is a 39 Plymouth, and the driver is actually signaling a left turn with an arm signal. There are a lot of "new" cars and you have to remember that this was taken in Hollywood, CA.

Also at 2:07 I saw a Studebaker sign across the street from the A. E. England Pontiac dealer but didn't remember seeing any new Studebakers in the video.

  17. Killer vid - anyone notice there was'nt even ONE Police cruiser to be seen anywhere in this clip?

    Interesting...
