    The 1957 Pontiac Safari, one of, if not the sweetest wagons to ever come off an assembly line. IMHO. The Forest Green really made it pop.

  3. Grandparents Motel. Just recently ran across this postcard via google search!
    This is in a little Coastal town south of Seattle, called Grayland. Still there and looks the same!

    yea thats ansel, he does fantastic work, have a few prints at home, learned a lot from his stuff.

    Close, but that's not a Muntz Jet. It's actually a Kurtis. Built in Glendale California. The Kurtis preceeded (and ultimately became) the Jet... :)

    Name is kind of unique isn't it.

    Just happened to run across this one.
    The one that was built out of a Corvair was called the "Futura".
    But was a mish mash of parts and not authorized by Kaiser aluminum.

    This pic was taken on the north side of the Milton Hershey Industrial school. It's on the hill above the old White field for the flea market at the AACA fall show. Tehse wagons were used to haul the boys to their student homes. This was when Milton hershey school was only for white male orphans. They lived on working farms and learned a trade at school besides the 3 R's.
