Here are two of the three movies we are showing at Greaserama 2012.
First is the vintage movie.Santo vs. las Mujeres Vampiro (also know as Samson VS. the vampire women) is a 1962 horror film. This was a favorite of PR Todd's that he wanted to show this year since we had a Mayan theme for 2012.

The seconed movie is the 1979 film Boulevard Nights. The barrio, gangs, guns, working in a lowrider body shop,Killer cars and lots of crazy paint jobs.

This is a very special show this year and a chance to honor our hero Punk Rod Todd. Looking forward to seeing our K.C. sisters and brothers and having a great time at this uber cool event. Trav, I will remember the springs this trip! ~sololobo~

As for the movies - if you have nver seen Boulevard Nights - give it a chance. It is actually really good.
and The Warriors - that is a classic man....
And honestly there is so much going on at that show - it is hard to keep attention turned toward the movies anyway!

 

what time does the friday night pre-registration party usually begin?

 

Starts at 8PM but you can get there whenever you want.

i should be there on sunday. at least as a spectator. first time and gettin pretty excited.

 

We weren't able to get Herbie the Love Bug, Cars, or The Sound of Music so we tried to stay with the Mexican, apocalyptic theme. Since this years GREASERAMA is themed "End of the World" according to the Mayans.

 

Man, I was born and raised in K.C.K. That would be worth going back home for! Sounds like a hoot!
