unknown bajo steer

does somebody know from what car this steering wheel comes from

Looks a lot like a 39 Ford that I have. Its put away right now but Im sure its just like that.

 

Not a ford. 39s banjos are tapered and have a fret on the spokes. Looks like a british wheel.

 

I'd be using it....Definitely different. I don't know what it is, though........

Looks looks like a Triumph TR3 wheel

 

I have never seen a column shift TR-3. Some early mercedes had a wheel like that. I agree it looks like a british wheel though maybe a daimler or or austin sedan, something that would have a column shift.

 

It's a light switch not transmission shifter.

 

Might want to take a second look and scroll over to the right.....

 

Ooops.......I feel stupid.

 

Another vote for British.

 

You're right, no column shifted TR3s, but he didn't ask about the column, and who knows if the wheel came on that column originally.....
