You made that chop look easy. I'm not convinced to chop mine yet.

Nice job on the tail lights, perfect size for that panel. But I think just the outer two would have been more than enough (and using the fixtures with the back-up lights in the center). Sorry. But then again, you just may prove us all wrong when it's all said and done! Gary

yeah i have gotten a lot of flack over the taillights.you either love them or hate them. they are from a 70 camaro. they were sitting around so i figured i would try it out. i'm not set on using them yet. pretty easy to make another rear panel. any ideas?
    thanks for the comments.

had some spare time during Christmas break so I did some work on the coupe again. I finished the patch panels on the driver's side and put all new hardware in the door. also finished the floor this week.

started patching the passenger side damage today. someone took after the quarter panel with a torch so I cut out the damaged area and made a new piece to patch in. I didn't finish welding it in yet. I will get that done this week and then start on the lower patch panels for the cowl and the quarter panel.

Yo what would it look like if you put some 59 caddy tail lights in the center of the one you have or mabe some crome bulletts in the center. hey you did ask if we had any ideas? I think you can make your original idea work if you get more creative with it. or use somthing pre 65. great job on the metal work looks great

Why on earth would you want to use tail lights from a '70's camero on such a cool old car?
