I just finished thrashing on a few new posters that I am bringing. Wish I could say I was thrashing on a hot rod!
new axles, spool, nodular centersection, gears this week. Got it buttoned up last night. tonight; bleed brakes, take it on a 2 laner and break the gears in. clean it up and load it in the morning.
I did an emergency oil pump installation before I took off, but it made it from S Carolina to Kansas City with out so much as a hiccup, so I think she is gonna be OK.... I'm spending the night at my mommas in KC, then a quick shot to Joplin in the morning. See ya, -Abone. PS. They usually have two or three flavors of race fuel at the track.
The ole clutchflite clicked right through the gears - but no VHT onthe county road! Will finish wiring that old safety neutral swith in the AM load up and be on the road to Joplin. WAHOO! ET
I guess my thrashing over the past month paid off, no issues with the car today at all...purred like a kitten. I'm more than half way there.
I wish I was thrashing... FedEx was supposed to drop off my radiator this morning. Should have been heading to Joplin right now. Just found out FedEx held the package at their St. Louis location. Now I have to drive 50 miles to pick it up, 50 miles back to come home and put it in. Hopefully all goes well and will make it in time to see the band tonight.
