The sequel is as depressing as real life back then. who'd want to watch that after living it?

I have the DVDs of American Graffiti and Two Lane Blacktop on my Christmas list this year. That 55 was the star of both movies!

Thats to graet movies!!! i just went and saw this clip:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AlToFDc6OlA

Its so much great racing stuff! And it's so funny that chick Milner tries to hook up with, ad the biginning she talks so weird Jibber-jabber, that might be from Island, then they find a guy from Norway, and then she starts to talk Danish. LOL

non the less, a fantastic movie. I already have the double box with both American Graffiti movies, Hollywood knights and 2 lan black-top is on the way.

Is there any other Most-Haves of Hot Rod, streetracing and dragster movies?

I allready owns Bullit, Le Mans and both new and the old vanishing point!

Why is it they want to blow all those cool cars up at the end, that just breaks something inside my body that feels so much for these cars.

I also found The last American hero on the web and #3 the Dale Earnhart story, Junkman and Tucker. the dale earnhart movie is taking forever!!!

Is there a move by the name Hot Rod? or is that an documentary?

    Great

Cannonball run 1 and 2, I have seen both.

Winning (feat. Poul Newmann) and Grand Prix (feat. James Garner).

Cannonbal got a different title over here, Direkt translatted to: Out for a ride with the crazy. There is for ones one movie that aint got a completly retarded title in Danish.
I'll try finding some off the others.

I also have California Kid and the original Gone in 60 Seconds one my Christmas list. Not too long ago saw Smoky and the Bandit on the cable, makes you want to have a Fire Bird with a screamin chicken on the hood. Those cars were new when I was 20.

More trivia. The actress Anna Bjorn that played the Icelandic beauty is the person that dropped the dime on Whitey Bulger for a 2 million dollar reward.

Aha, but to have been there is the best! Even in Canada we had our cars and burger joints and hang-outs. If only we had realized how precious those memories have become! Oh well, there has to be more!!!!!!
