Here's a pedal car I converted to more of a stroller type car. It has a flat floor in it and when my niece was about a year old she would pile in it and we'd push her around in it. I also built the trailer to hold our wedding cake!

Well I bought a old pedal car body yesterday morning , built a chassis and found some ol' tires and wheels in the corner , then throwed a little paint and some decals on it . And here it is after a few hours in the shop !

I am about to build my little girl a lowrider radio flyer. I am wondering what you guys are usin for your wheels? They look to me like hand truck wheels that are painted white walls. I want to use these on back kinda like a slick and put a skinny wheel on front. Like the old cheater slick/skinny combo. Alsohow tall are these wheels 8"?

That's dope. I'd put some tall Cadillac fins and a heavy flake paint job and keep it low

Posted this on in another thread, but i guess it could work her to?
During the cold Swedish winters when Hot Rod building become to much. I tend to relax by building a Kick-bike.
This winter it developed to a Swap-meet stroller instead.

10 years ago i bought two small rubber wheels that had the right look, And finally i figured what to do with them.

A Lance Sorchik picture was my inspiration.

Paper is cheaper than steel, but i cut some steel anyway,

Checked the stance with the wheels.

Used some scrap parts to make my louver press. And did some training first.

I needed something to cover the rear, so i made a Quick-change cover.

    Could be something.

I made a handle to push it with,

    Test drive.

    Time for some paint.

    Matte black top coat.

Made a dashboard to, the top is mounted on a hinge so you can put your beer cans inside.

My grandchild took it out for a spin.

A coupel of weeks ago i gave it to a friend of mine that is a master with the brush and he will put some line/text on it.

Another funny thing is two weeks into the build i got a mail from Lance sorchik!! He wanted to know how i made my top to flow since he have a 33 roadster to. I had to show him the build and ask if it was OK to "copy" him. And he said it was OK. Small world isn't it ;-)

Picked up my Swapmeet stroller, from the pinstriper.

Think he made an outstanding job.

Mr 42 that thing is very sweet. I just have one question. Whats up with the front wheels? Are they always angled or do they turn? Not that it changes how awesome that thing is, I just wondered. Again, excellent craftsmanship! :D

    Thanks boys.
I had trouble getting a good steering solution for the front wheels, without destroying the look.
So i lift the front wheels and use only the rear ones when i strolling down the swapmeet.

    Here's mine...

Aside from the pinstriping(still needed on back), I finished it few days ago, and thought I would share the pics. It took some time, but so worth it. I didn't expect my 20 month old daughter to like it as much as she does.

As you can see it's supposed to resemble my 27 roadster.

decided to improve my fab skills a little bit and build my kid a belly tanker stroller. Ill post pics as I build. but here is the start. any tips appreciated.

not sure what the tank came off. but it was a tad too long. So I removed a few feet out of the middle. its not perfectly rounded after the cut but I have a friend who does body work that will show me how to fix that.
