That run is my favorite run to do! I've been on it twice. But with our wedding in three weeks and then a honeymoon....I just don't think it's in the cards. Next year though!

 

I've been a few times, but this was Jamie's first time. Looks like it won't be the last, either

We made it home with the panel truck, developed a viberation in Nevada but we nursed her on home, glad to hear you guys made it home, thats a long way in a old car with old running gear!! we're used to driving an old car with modern running gear, BIG difference!! see you at Vantage. Thanks for sharing Chris, didn't get to go this year... I see you saw Dale (aka Billy) and Lee H. (aka Skippy) on the Salt in the rpu.... Wish I could have been there.. would have drove with my buddy Shawn in his OT rig... They had a gathering for Terry...I'm sure he was smiling down on the salt for sure. which I'm bummed to have missed... Great pictures

 

I was hoping for a memorial but it didn't happen. But we all hung out telling storys of Terry and I know he was there with us!

 

Now I wish we would have gone, a longer trip from Wisconsin but there are some great two lanes out and back that make the trip more interesting. The salvage yard in Idaho, what can you say. We found all of the stuff was for sale in '10. $4500.00 was the price then. Great shots, thanks.

 

Glad to have met you down at Bonneville at least your car made it, mine broke the crank in Hood River. Had a great time anyways.

 

The 34 sure looks great out on the salt.

Did you see anybody riding cushman scooters down there with Montana plates?
